[edit] 295 or 298 BC?

Could anyone check whether the date (298 BC) of the battle is correct? My sources, though they deal more with Roman history in general than with the Samite wars in particular, suggest that it took place in 295 BC. That chronology would also make more sense to me as the first phase of the war is happening around the Samnite territory (taking of Bovianum by Romans in 295) while in the following years the activities shift to the north, where Camerinum lies. Google doesn't provide a lot of pages if you search for "Camerinum 295" or "Camerinum 298" respectively, but there is a (German) page like this: [1] that has a time-scale with Camerinum in 295. So in case this proves to be right, the date should be changed.--Proofreader 17:15, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
