The Battle of Suessula was an episode in 343 BC in the Samnite Wars between the Samnite peoples living in the hills around Samnium (today's Campania), and the Roman Republic.
The Romans beat the Samnites, but were forced to withdraw due to the revolt of several of their Latin allies.
