Battle of Plocnik

The Battle of Plocnik was fought in Bosnia in 1388. The Ottoman empire had been taking control of Europe coming into the battle, however, the Battle of Plocnik slowed down the empire's conquest. A force of Serbians, Bosnians, and Bulgarians combined to defeat Ottoman attackers with self proclaimed Sultan Murad the 1st and Bayezid (his son). The most famous Serbian knight, Milos Obilic was wounded in the battle.
