The Battle of Kliszów took place on July 19, 1702 in Małopolska during Great Northern War. Swedish army under command of Charles XII defeated the Polish-Saxon army of August II the Strong. Both sides had a similar number of soldiers (20,000) and the famous Polish Husaria was used in battle for the last time there.
