Battle of Colson's Mill

The Battle of Colson's Mill was a battle of the American Revolutionary War that took place in North Carolina on July 21, 1780.
In the battle, local Tories were defeated by Patriots under Col. William Lee Davidson who attacked and defeated them near the junction of the Rocky and Pee Dee Rivers. Of the Patriots, Col. William Lee Davidson and one other were wounded. Of the Tories, 3 were killed, 4 to 5 were wounded, and 10 were taken prisoner.
