The battle of Cassano d'Adda was a battle in the French Revolutionary Wars that was fought on April 27, 1799 near Cassano d'Adda. It resulted in a victory for the Austrians and Russians (Second Coalition forces) under Field Marshal Alexander Suvorov over the French troops, left by Napoleon during his Egyptian campaign.
