Battle Fantasia is a two-player arcade fighting game currently scheduled for a March 2007 release in Japan. The game is "2.5D" - it is played in two-dimensions, but uses three-dimensional polygonal character models. The game runs on Taito's new Type X2 hardware and is the first game to use Taito's new Vewlix arcade cabinet, which allows the game to run in resolutions as high as 720p.
