Bathgate Thistle F.C.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bathgate Thistle F.C. is a Scottish junior football club, based in the town of Bathgate, West Lothian. They play in the Scottish Junior Football Association's East Region Super League.
Nicknamed Thistle, they were formed in 1937 and presently play their home games at Creamery Park, which has room for 3,000 spectators. Their club colour is blue. The club's top scorer for the 2006/7 season is Conor 'Beer Belly' McCrory, who claims that he owes it all to his secret match preparation - a pint of Guinness and lashings of fried soda bread.[citation needed]
