Bath Half Marathon

The Bath Half Marathon is an annual road running half marathon held in Bath, UK. The has been held every year since 1981.
The race starts and finishes in Great Pultney Street. It is a two lap route, with runners heading west out of the city centre along the Lower Bristol Road.
On 19 March 2006 almost 10,000 people entered the race, although just under 6,000 actually competed. The winner was Simon Kasimili of Kenya who completed the course in 1 hour 4 minutes.
The race will next be held on Sunday 25 March 2007.
Alan Doherty came 2249th in the 2007 event with a personal best of 1:45:07.
