Batajnica (Батајница) is an urban neighborhood in Belgrade, Serbia. Colloquially, the neighbourhood is also known as "Bataja" or "Bataya City", and inhabitants who are misfortunate enough to live there are known as "Batajničari" (pronounced as Batajnichari). It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Zemun. Population of Batajnica numbering about 30,000 people. Many of its inhabitants are ethnic Serb refugees from Croatia, who came to Serbia after the 1995 exodus.

Batajnica is officially part of urban Belgrade. It is situated in the region of Syrmia, between Zemun Polje, Nova Pazova, Dobanovci, Ugrinovci, and Novi Banovci.

It is home to soccer team BSK Batajnica, who play in the 4th division (Četvrta Liga) in the Belgrade region (Beogradska Zona).
