Thanks for the article at Christian Metal. I moved it to Christian metal because I don't think it's properly capitalized. The vast majority of genres aren't (New Wave is the only exception I can think of) usually -- if Christian metal is an exception, feel free to move it back. I also made a redirect from white metal -- it's best to do that with synonyms. If you're interested in musicy articles on Wikipedia, I suggest you check out our music standards and Wikiproject: Albums. Tuf-Kat
I'll have a look at the suggested links. Thanks. Basswulf 16:07 Apr 19, 2003 (UTC)

Hi. I considered the line "Grandmaster Caz from the Cold Crush Brothers claims that Sugarhill Gang member Big Bank Hank used his rhymes on Rapper's Delight" interesting and copied it from The Sugarhill Gang to Rapper's Delight article. --Erri4a 22:17, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] 5-string acoustic bass guitar

That's a really good sentence. I wonder, do you have any idea of the volume of air inside a normal-sized ABG compared to a full-size double bass? Maybe we could get specs from some manufacturers. I think it must be something like 1/3 or 1/2. The fact the guitarron is so unwieldy due to its greater size (in addition to its sloped fingerboard) makes it better able to resonate the low tones, I think. My ABG is a Tanglewood Odyssey, with an ovationesque moulded back. The double bass I rented for a while was at least three times as deep and probably about three times the surface area. Accounting for the curvature on the ABG, I'd suspect it had 10% or less of the internal volume of the double bass! On the other hand, I'm not sure whether internal volume makes all the difference. You'd need someone with a better grasp of acoustics than me to write knowledgably about the topic! Basswulf 14:33, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
