Talk:Basil (disambiguation)

Hmm....... it seems weird to anglicize "Vassili" to "Basil"... who'd want to be named after an herb? ugen64 03:44, Jan 23, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Characters called Basil

Why have the characters called Basil been removed from this page?

I especially think that the Mouse Detective and Basil Fawlty should be referenced on this page.

The fist name is listed in disambig pages only if the person is known only by the first name. Disambiguation pages are a navigational tool to distinguish between things that are called by the same word. mikka (t) 00:19, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

I came here looking for an article on Basil Fawlty, or at least a link to him. Thus, I am adding him to this page. BadCRC 19:06, 25 February 2006 (UTC) Oh yeah, one other thing, what's with the two wiktionary links (one to 'basil', the other to 'Basil')? BadCRC 19:06, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Wiktionary has different entries for words starting with capitals and not. On Wikipedia all entries start with capitals. There's a huge amount of people named Basil which aren't here - see [search]  VodkaJazz / talk  09:46, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
