Portal:Basketball/News

What kind of information should be in "basketball news"? should that be news on trades & stuff, or recent scores, or just really big news, or what? Along a slightly similar note, is this portal focused primarily on the NBA, or college basketball, or just the sport in general? Billy Shears 05:30, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

I would assume it's about the sport in general (I didn't start the portal, I just fixed it up), since other sport portals (i.e. Portal:Baseball) aren't about any specific leagues, but just about the sport in the general sense. Probably any news related to basketball would be fine, seeing as it's better than nothing ;). I guess you could take a look at the other portals in Portal:Sports and games for a guideline on what to put there. Robert 22:59, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Strategies section

What happened to the offensive and defensive strategies sections? Stats and players go on ad infinitum; those strategies are what directly shape the game as we see it. Someone should find a place for the links on the portal page: [1] and [2] And fix the spelling as well. --Uggh1134 00:26, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
