The Bass Trio Quartet, formed in 2005 in Knoxville, TN, is comprised of three electric basses and one set of drums. The inaugural performance drew a crowd of 400+ attendees. The band often has impromptu jam sessions with various members at Guitar Center Knoxville, giving fans an opportunity to meet and experience the Bass Trio Quartet first hand. At formation, the Trio Quartet consisted of Thomas Hoffman, Nikki Nair, Emily Simonds, and Noah Tandy, with Nair on vocals. After the band's first performance however, Nair was replaced by Taner Oguz.
