A basketball game (using picnic food instead of an actual basketball) is taking place at Jon’s house, which feature Jon, Odie and Nermal playing against Garfield. Jon tells his team that they need to get food into the picnic basket because when they tried to have picnics in the past, Garfield ate all the food before they left the driveway. Despite Jon’s team’s efforts, Garfield leads a shutout against them; then Odie accuses Garfield of having cheated his way through the game.
