Basil Acres (Born Brantham, 27 November 1926 - Died 2000) was an English professional footballer, who played at full back.

His career started at Brantham, before he signed for Ipswich Town in July 1951. In all he spent nine seasons at the club, finally retiring in 1960, having made 109 appearances for them, and scoring six goals. After he finished playing he went on to work for Ipswich Town Football Club for may years.
