Bashkirian

The Bashkirian Age is the first of four ages in the Pennsylvanian Epoch of the Carboniferous period. It lasted from 318.1±1.3 to 311.7±1.1 million years ago. It was preceded by the Serpukhovian age and followed by the Moscovian. This age is named after the republic of Bashkiria in Russia
