Based On A True Story is the sophomore album from American Idol Star, Kimberley Locke. The album was originally set for a release date in early 2006, however has been delayed several times. First to June, then September, then October, and finally into 2007. An official release date has finally been announced as May 1, 2007.
The lead single "Supawoman" was debuted on her MySpace and received positive reviews. It officially hit radio on August 7, 2006.
The second single, "Change", was released to radio in January 2007 after having been previewed on her MySpace and official website starting on November 1, 2006.
