Basanti Puja
Mythology said that King Surath first worshiped to Goddesses Basanti at Basant (Spring - March/April). That was the prime Durga Puja. After Ram worshiped to Goddese at Akal Bodohan (not in time) to kill Ravan and called Durga Puja.
Still in many places [Basanti Puja]http://www.tanusreepatra.wordpress.com held at different parts of West Bengal. One of them is a very old family puja held in Pal Bari at Barddhaman in West Bengal.
