Burak in Çanakkale

Barakus also known as Burakius is a Turk who was born in the Netherlands, Zaandam at 30 march 1987. His real name is Burak Eskin.

His parents are both from Aksaray tho there is a great history about the two parts of his family.

His mothers side is from Chechnya (near the Caucasus Mountains) and came to Türkiye a long time ago maybe before the Ottoman era and another part of the mothers side just came in with the Seljuks.

The fathers side came to Turkey in 1890 from Crimea which is now known as south Ukraine. The great-grandfather of Burak actively took part in the Battle of Gallipoli and the Turkish War of Independence etc. They are former Tattar and Nogais.

Hoge school van Amsterdam - Civiele techniek (Civil Engineering)

Burak is a muslim (soennit-hannefi) and actively takes part in the Islam en Dialoog group. This is a group which attends dialogs with other beliefs in the Netherlands. The main aim is to explain what Islam is all about and establish peaceful relations with others full of understanding and brotherhood.
