Talk:Barwon River (Victoria)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Once upon a time, this article existed along with Barwon River, New South Wales on the page Barwon River. No doubt a bit of NSW vs Vic rivalry flared up, so the page was split. A record of that history from before the split now exists at Talk:Barwon River, Victoria/Old history.--Commander Keane 13:27, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Someone wrote this under Barwon, possibly it should be merged into the Barwon River article, but it sounds like nonsense to me:
The Barwon river is unique in that its source is the Victoria, Australia high country yets is heads are in the Arabian Gulf. Scientists are still puzzled as to how it crosses the Indian Ocean.
