The normal English name (HBW and almost all other references I've seen) for "Streptopelia risoria" is Barbary Dove - anyone object if I do a re-name job on it? Also it seems pretty universally accepted now as derived from S. roseogrisea, not from S. decaocto = MPF 12:39, 4 Feb 2004 (UTC)

It's nearly always called the Ring Dove in non-zoological scientific literature, so I've added that as an alternative common name. seglea 01:35, 25 Feb 2004 (UTC)
