I was just wondering what a "Ford" professor means exactly. Is it a position sponsored by Ford? Maybe someone can clarify this...
- It's a named chair: basically, a position that carries some extra prestige and probably funding. See professor, under "named chair". Mangojuicetalk 13:08, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
