Barysh

Barysh (Russian: Барыш) is a town in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Barysh River (Volga's tributary) 139 km south-west of Ulyanovsk at . Population: 18,902 (Census); 20,213 (1989 Census).
Founded in 1954 via merger of urban-type settlements of Barysh and Guryevka.
