Barton Elliott Smith (born March 23, 1952 in Richmond, Virginia) is a former American football running back/fullback in the NFL. He was the top draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 1974. Prior to playing for the Packers, he played for the University of Richmond and Douglas S. Freeman High School.
