Bartosz Białkowski (pronounced Bart-osh Biao-kof-ski) is a Polish football goalkeeper, currently with English club Southampton.
He was born July 6, 1987 in Braniewo, Poland and made his Polish league debut on October 30, 2004 for Górnik Zabrze.
On January 9, 2006, he signed for Southampton. His debut game was against Crystal Palace on January 25, 2006, which resulted in a 0-0 draw. He also appeared for the first time in the FA Cup, in the 1-0 win against Leicester on January 28, 2006.
Bartosz was injured for the end of the 2005-06 season and for the early part of the 2006-07 season, having fallen awkardly trying to collect the ball in an FA Cup tie against Newcastle on 18 February 2006. George Burley could not substitute him as the manager had used three substitutes already. Dexter Blackstock replaced Białkowski and prevented Albert Luque from scoring his first Newcastle goal.
He returned to the first-team match squad for the match against Sunderland on 11 November 2006, but has not been able to displace Kelvin Davis in the starting line-up.
