[edit] The Federation of Chalvedon and Barstable Schools

As of January 2006, the school has become part of a federation with local school, Chalvedon School. They are both currently run by headmaster Alan Roach. In Mr. Roach's own words:

"As Principal from January 2006, I look forward to leading Barstable School from strength to strength. Mrs Jones, Associate Principal, and I take very seriously our responsibility for the children and for the future of the School.

Our vision is one in which the high standard of education provided is reflected in all pupils’ progress and achievement. Our hope is that most of our pupils will continue their education in our College. Pupils already know that we have the highest expectations of them and that there can be no compromise in standards of attainment, attendance and behaviour. They also know that we will not compromise on the quality of teaching or in our efforts to provide the best possible learning environment."
