Barry Nicholson (born 24 August 1978 in Dumfries) is a Scottish professional football midfielder currently playing in the Scottish Premier League for Aberdeen.
He started his career at boyhood favourites Rangers, but limited appearances in the first team saw him join Dunfermline Athletic where he remained until July 2005. He joined Aberdeen on 7 July 2005 for £250,000. He also has been capped by Scotland.
