Barry Diamond

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barry Diamond (real name Barry Carr) is a vocal entertainer working in the North of England.

His first band in the late 1950s was "Big Tony Laurie and the Original Classics", with Carr being Big Tony.

Carr went on to form Midnight Hour and Diamond Jack, both rock bands touring the North of England. The band included guitarists Pete Bangert and Pete Childs. Diamond Jack worked as a duo of Childs and Diamond until Carr went solo as Barry Diamond in the early 90's.

He still performs in Manchester and Hull clubs.
