Barrie—Simcoe—Bradford

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barrie—Simcoe—Bradford (previously known as Barrie—Simcoe) was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1997 to 2003. This riding was created in 1996, when Barrie—Simcoe riding was renamed. Barrie—Simcoe had been formed in 1996 from Simcoe Centre and York—Simcoe ridings, but its name was changed before an election was held.

Barrie—Simcoe—Bradford consisted of the City of Barrie and the towns of Bradford West Gwillimbury and Innisfil in the County of Simcoe.

It was abolished in 2003 when it was re-distributed between Barrie, Simcoe—Grey and York—Simcoe ridings.
