Baron of Scales
The title Baron of Scales is an ancient one in the Peerage of England. It was created in 1299 by writ for Robert de Scales. The last known holder was Elisabeth Wydville, who was married to Anthony Woodville, 2nd Earl Rivers. After her death in 1473, he was summoned in her right. On his death in 1483 the peerage fell into abeyance.
