Baron Bassett of Stratton

The title Baron Bassett of Stratton was created in the Peerage of Great Britain in 1797 for Francis Bassett, who had already been created Baron de Dunstanville a year earlier and a baronet in 1779. The 1797 creation was able to through the female line and did so, to his daughter, on his death in 1835. The title became extinct on the second baroness's death in 1855.
