Barking Up The Wrong Tree is an episode of Moesha.

Myles demands to have a dog but Frank and Dee are still not allowing it to happen until Frank goves Myles the following rules on to watch the dog, make sure he's being taken care of and it's his responsibilities. And surprise...Hakeem comes with the puppy and names him 'Valentimes' because of love. Moesha and Hakeem along with Antonio are at work while Clayton is taken over the job as the boss, as it turns out all three do not like him at all. So then later, Clayton asks if anyone wants the job as Assistance Manager, but all three of them reject it and are not interested in it at all. Frank wakes up early in the morning and finds out that Valentimes wet the kitchen floor and Myles cleans it up with Dee's word of demands and respect. The next day, Hakeem is wearing a suit and is the assistance manager for Clayton, Moesha in shock that he tooked the job, questions Hakeem about his dreams into going to college, but Hakeem rejects that idea and decides to take this job. Moesha with no other choice decides to see if she could have a talk with his mother. Following week, Valentimes has been wrecking a lot of havoc in the Mitchells household until Myles decided to give Valentimes a home, and that's with Andell. And finally, Moesha decides to meet with Bernetta Campbell, Hakeems mother to settle about him going to college. Bernetta calls Hakeem for him to tell Moesha that he's not being force to help pay bills. Then Bernetta tells Hakeem that he setted a big fund-raised in for him to get to college. Moesha is shocked and finally learns not to stick her noise in anyone elses business and understands. Bernetta in the end hugs both Hakeem and Moesha.
