The seat covers the areas of Barking and Becontree in east London.

Following their review of parliamentary representation in North London the Boundary Commission for England has made modifications and alterations to all existing constituencies. The electoral wards used to create the Barking constituency to be fought at the Next United Kingdom general election are:

  • Abbey, Alibon, Becontree, Eastbury, Gascoigne, Goresbrook, Longbridge, Mayesbrook, Parsloes, Thames, and Valence.
