Peoples of barkhan are KHETRAN Barkhan has great geo importance, its east is touched with Punjab. Rakhni which is one of the town of barkhan district is such a trade point known all over the Pakistan. SArdar Abdul Rehman Khetran Khetran is the ruling personality of Barkhan, he elected many times as provisional minster. Khetrani language is spoken all over the district, except Khetran there are families migrated from india at the time of Partition of Pakistan who are doing the active role in the development of Barkhan and one of them is Bagh Ali's family, who have the honour of having 3 army officers and 4 doctors in their family.
