Baressa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 60 km northwest of Cagliari and about 35 km southeast of Oristano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 811 and an area of 12.6 km².^[1]

Baressa borders the following municipalities: Baradili, Gonnoscodina, Gonnosnò, Siddi, Simala, Turri, Ussaramanna.
