Barbara Heinemann Landmann

Barbara Heinemann Landmann or Heynemann- (1795, Leitersweiler, Alsace - 1883) was an Alsatian-born spiritual leader of the Community of True Inspiration who supported Christian Metz in his moves from Europe to Iowa and organising the network of the seven communities known as the Amana Colonies.

As spiritual leader, she held the society together after Metz's death.
