Barbara Ewing

Barbara Ewing is a New Zealand film and television actress and novellist. Much of her success has been in Great Britain.

Born and educated in New Zealand, she trained as an actress at the Royal Drama Academy in London in 1965. She made her film debut in the horror film Torture Garden (1967), directed by Freddie Francis for Amicus Productions.

One of her best known television roles Agnes Fairchild in the Granada comedy series Brass (1982-84)

More recent appearances include Doctors and Holby City, both on the BBC.
