A legislative election was held in Barbados on 6 September 1994. The Barbadian people elected 28 members to the House of Assembly for a term of five years.

The opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP) defeated the Democratic Labour Party (DLP), capturing the largest share (19) of seats in the election.

The National Democratic Party won one seat in the election, the first party other than the BLP and DLP to win representation in the House of Assembly since 1966.
