Barano d'Ischia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 30 km southwest of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,423 and an area of 11.1 km².[1]

The municipality of Barano d'Ischia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Buonopane, Testaccio d'Ischia, Vatoliere, Fiaiano, and Piedimonte.
