Bar/None Records

Bar/None Records is an independent record label based out of Hoboken, New Jersey.
The label was founded by Tom Prendergast in early 1986 as a logical progression from Pier Records, an indie record store in Hoboken. The first release on the label was by Rage To Live, whose leader, Glenn Morrow, quickly became a partner in the label.
Bar/None's most notable signing may be They Might Be Giants (Bar/None released all their albums until 1991, when the band moved to Elektra Records). Other current and former artists and albums include :
