[edit] Banknotes of Ireland
This article is dealing with all the banknotes of Ireland, not just the banknotes from the Republic of Ireland. Someone had to mention about the trading bank notes that were issued both prior to 1922 & right until 1941, when the last 'Ploughman Notes' were issued. - (Aidan Work 01:59, 14 December 2005 (UTC))
- I have no problem with a Banknotes of Ireland article, except in so far as it duplicates this article. Any duplication needs to be removed from the Banknotes of Ireland article (and inserting a link to this article) and any useful information written into this article. What is this doing at Banknotes of Ireland. ? Why did it get moved/renamed to a badly-formed name? FreplySpang (talk) 21:25, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] What happened to this article?
This article has been vandalised, as the sections on the 'Ploughman Notes', the Irish-American Exile banknotes, & the Irish Euro notes have been deleted. What was the reasoning behind this? I think that the deletions were an extremely dumb move. - (Aidan Work 07:05, 12 January 2006 (UTC))
- Euro notes and Ploughman notes are in Banknotes of the Republic of Ireland, the Irish-American Exile banknotes aren't real money. --Kiand 12:13, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
