BantyoLeomon (バンチョーレオモン, banchōreomon^?) is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise. A Beast Digimon, he is the Mega form of Leormon. He is the first of five Digimon that earned the title of "Bantyo". He is a master that serves only his own "justice" and if anything becomes an obstacle to that "justice," even if it's someone like the Royal Knights, the Celestial Digimon, or the Sovereigns, he will see them as enemies. BantyoLeomon is also known as BanchouLeomon.

Suguru Daimon first encountered BantyoLeomon when looking for Yggdrasil. BantyoLeomon asked him which was better: a god or a bantyo? The two fought in a battle that ended much like Masaru an Agumon's. He became friends with him and later transformed BantyoLeomon to BantyoLeomon Burst Mode to fight the Royal Knights member Craniummon. When BantyoLeomon disarmed him, Yggdrasil appeared and it appeared that Suguru would finally be able to make peace between the two worlds. However, when Kurata attacked the Digital World the first time, Suguru was imprisoned. When Suguru bet his life that it wouldn't happen again, BantyoLeomon stood up for him and Yggdrasil gave Suguru another chance. BantyoLeomon was there when news about Mercurimon's deletion at the hands of Gizmon XT reached Yggdrasil. When the other Royal Knights members surrounded Suguru to execute him, BantyoLeomon jumped in the way and punched Suguru himself, and part of Suguru's soul was transfered into BantyoLeomon before Yggdrasil took his body.

BantyoLeomon first appears to the DATS members when he takes out all the Gizmon XT sent by Akihiro Kurata. He later trains Masaru Daimon, Tohma H. Norstein, and Yoshino Fujieda on how to master their DigiSouls. After ShineGreymon, MirageGaogamon, and Rosemon won against BioThunderbirdmon, BioStegomon, and BioCoatlmon, BantyoLeomon pointed to the direction where the Holy Capital is and left. BantyoLeomon later appears in the Real World to tell Masaru and Agumon that the Geo Grey Sword plays a part in unlocking ShineGreymon's Burst Mode. When Kurata/Belphemon's attack broke the boundaries of the Real World and the Digital World, BantyoLeomon released Suguru's DigiSoul within him to slow it down, freezing itself in place, until Craniummon somehow released him and replaced him. He appeared at Ygggdrasil's lair and revealed to Masaru the whole story about his link with Suguru. He sacrificed his life for ShineGreymon to take out Suguru possessed by Yggdrasil.
