Bankstown Grammar School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bankstown Grammar School (BGS) is an independent school (one which charges tuition) located in Georges Hall, New South Wales, Australia. It offers grades 7 through 12. The school was founded in 1986 as a joint venture of the Anglican and Uniting churches in Bankstown. Its name is Bankstown Grammar instead of Georges Hall Grammar because it was once based in Bankstown. The school is located next to Bankstown Airport.
On the same site is St. Pauls Choir School. St Pauls was the first of the two schools to open and most students from St Pauls eventually attend BGS.
Bankstown Grammar School was founded in 1986 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year - 2006.
