Banksia sessilis |
Banksia sessilis, commonly known as Parrot Bush, is a species of shrub or tree in the plant genus Banksia. It is widespread throughout southwest Western Australia, and quick to recolonise degraded sandy areas in the Perth area. Despite being rather attractive in flower, it is a very prickly plant with little recognised horticultural value.
