Bangkok University (มหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ) is a tertiary educational institution in Bangkok. Established 1962, it is one of the oldest private universities in Thailand.

Bangkok University is an educational institution that develops students' academic potential and their practical skills, while helping them adjust to the changing world and adapt themselves to the changes in society. It aims to teach students morality and enable them to earn a living while believing in themselves.
It also provides a place of gathering for academics, allowing research to be done in many different fields and for cooperation with research both within and outside the country.

Bangkok University has two campuses of study.
[edit] Gluay Nam Tai Campus
Gluay Nam Tai campus(วิทยาเขตกล้วยน้ำไท) is located at 119 Sukhumvit Soi 40 (119 ซอยสุขุมวิท 40) in the Phra Khanong sub-district (แขวงพระโขนง) of the Khlong Toei district (เขตคลองเตย) of Bangkok. It occupies approximately 15 000 square metres. It is the study area for most students in their third or fourth year. International students of all years also attend this campus, as well as most academics in special programmes attend at this campus. It is also the location of the office of the university's president. It is location of the international college, graduate college, and many others. On this campus there are laboratories, classrooms, seminar rooms, libraries, computer centre, an indoor sports centre, and many other service institutes. An art gallery, the Bangkok University Gallery (BUG), opened on the campus in 2006.
[edit] Rangsit Campus
The Rangsit campus(วิทยาเขตรังสิต) is located at 9/1 5 Paholyothin Rd., Tambon Khlong Neung Amphoe Khlong Luang of Pathum Thani province. It is located approximately fourteen kilometres north of the former Bangkok International Airport. The campus is approximately 265,000 square metres in size. It is the study place of regular students in their first and second years. It is the location of the university's stadium. Also contains the Surat Library. There also is the Bangkok University Museum, which is an important Archaic Research facility. This campus has also received the ISO 14001 standard, the first in Thailand to receive this designation.
