[edit] Geography

Even though Bangalla is located somewhere in Africa, it could best be described as a combination of an African and Indian country.

Bangalla and is located on the east coast of Africa. The country is today a democracy. The Bangallan flag is blue with a yellow crescent to the left, and a star and a circle to the right.

[edit] Regime

Bangalla is a former British colony, but is today a democracy. The country's first president is named Lamanda Luaga. He was initially replaced by the evil Kigali Lubanga, who ruled the country as a dictator for a short period, before the people started a rebellion and Luaga was re-elected. (Lubanga has since shown up on several occasions to haunt the Phantom and tried to take power, also general Bababu and mayor Gorga has made several unsuccesful coup d'états).

[edit] Neighbour countries

Bangala is bordered by Ivory Lana (also called Fari Lana), whose president Abraham Goranda is a friend of Luaga, and Rodia (also written Rhodia).

[edit] Laws and Constitution

Recent events have established that the president, should he deem it necessary, has the power to suspend the laws. President Luaga, for instance, suspended the rules against striking or assaulting the president, in an effort to have a fair fistfight with a citizen. Such an exhibition of power suggests that the legislature of Bangalla is weaker than in many commonwealth countries.
