Banepa

Banepa (Nepal Bhasa: भोंत) is a small town with a population of about 15,000 located 27 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal. The main attraction of Banepa is the temple of Chandeshwari, located approximately 1 km northeast of the town along the Chandeshwari River. In Banepa there is also Scheer Memorial Hospital of Seventh-day Adventists, established in 1957.

         Next thing special about Banepa is that it is the proposed cyber city of Nepal. The Information Technology Park is being built in border of three municipalities of Kavre; Banepa, Dhulikhel and Panauti and there is debate about the the official emplacement. Still all the three towns are declared as the cyber cities.
