Bandar Sunway

Bandar Sunway is a town in the Klang Valley conurbation in Selangor, Malaysia. It is situated in the district of Petaling. The township is adjacent to the newer but much larger area of UEP Subang Jaya (commonly referred to by its initials, USJ), and Subang Jaya.

Bandar Sunway was developed by Sunway Group, also known as Sunway Holdings Incorporated Berhad. Construction begun in 1986 to develope Bandar Sunway.
[edit] Amenities and Accessibility
Over the years, Bandar Sunway has matured into a community well-provided with amenities. The township has numerous schools, colleges, a hospital, places of worship, and vibrant commercial areas. A shopping complex, Sunway Pyramid
Bandar Sunway is well-connected to the cities of Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam and the townships of Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya and Klang via a network of highways, namely the Federal Highway, the Shah Alam Expressway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), the North-South Expressway Central Link and the Damansara-Puchong Expressway. Bandar Sunway is also served by an urban-suburb rail link, the KTM Komuter.
Bandar Sunway has also become known as a higher education hub, with two large colleges in the area, namely Monash University, and Sunway University College, and also not forgetting The One Academy, an accomplished art college that won the ADreline awards for year 2006.

One of the current infrastructure development of Bandar Sunway is the expansion of Sunway Pyramid, called Pyramid 2. A new Monash University building is also in developement nearby Sunway College.

There is a public bus called Metro which has route number 20 (M20) from USJ to KL (Kota Raya).
