The Banco de Chile (Chile Bank), is the second biggest banking group of Chile, behind the Banco Santander Santiago followed by the BBVA Chile. Founded the 28 of October of 1893 by the fusion of the banks of Valparaiso (1855), National of Chile (1865) and Agriculturist (1869). The Banco of Chile traditionally has led the Chilean financial market like one of the greatest banks in the pick up and deposits, and successful in terms of return of assets and yield for its shareholders. At the moment the Banco of Chile belongs to the Quiñenco group The Banco de Chile is a commercial bank that provides one complete product range and financial services to an ample base of clients that includes great corporations, small and medium companies and market of people, through a national network of 237 branches, 807 automatic tellers and other electronic channels of distribution. The operations are organized around six main commercial divisions: operations of great corporations, small and medium companies, market of the people, market of consumption, international banking activities and operations of the market of values. Additionally, the filial companies complete the range of financial services with operations of securitización, of brokerage of values, mutual investment and bottoms, of insurances, financial and factoring consultant's office, among others. On more than 20 years of operative presence in the United States of America through its branch in New York, the Bank also counts on a branch in Miami, and a structure of present offices of representation in Buenos Aires, City of Mexico, Hong Kong and São Paulo, thus providing international services and products in competitive and adapted conditions to the necessities of its clients.
